Rev. Charles Kim

Charles was born and raised in Flushing, Queens, NYC, where he (unfortunately) grew up to be a diehard Mets, Jets, and Knicks fan. After surviving the NYC public school education system (P.S. 22, P.S. 214, JHS 189, and Stuyvesant High School), he attended and graduated from Villanova University in 2008. It was during college where God saved him, and called him to pastoral ministry. Following God’s call, he was led on a wild but incredible journey that led him to Uganda, Rwanda, Philadelphia, South Korea (where he met his wife), back to Philadelphia (where he finished his seminary studies at Westminster Theological Seminary, and got ordained), and finally out into the land of 10,000 lakes: Minnesota (or what he likes to call ‘New Jerusalem’), where he is currently serving as the associate pastor of English and Youth Ministries at KPCM–as well as a chaplain in the Minnesota Army National Guard (serving with the 1347th CSSB). He is married to Eunhee, and together they have two daughters: Cassandra Abigail (7), and Ellianah Claire (2).
